Belprin and Catfoss factories are designed to cater for maximum
production flexibility and this, together with a highly skilled
workforce and management team has been a major key to YMCL's
continued success.
Research
and development has also played a large part in YMCL's expansion
and diversification over the past 25-30 years. The ability to
ensure swift, efficient changeovers from one model to another has
meant that the company remains one of the most flexible facilities
for dry freight special manufacture in the industry.
Most of
YMCL's production is designed in-house using the latest computer
aided design equipment, industry 3D-design modelling and finite
element analysis. The company has developed and refined many of the
industry's most successful and innovative designs including the
'SeaDeck' flatrack and the revolutionary two palletwide 'SeaCell'
container.
Certified
and registered to BS-EN-ISO 9001:2000 and is an approved supplier
to AEAT Rail and BNFL Group. YMCL offers in-house mechanical ISO
testing suitable for 10ft to 48ft length containers as well as a
thermal test chamber for refrigerated containers, trailers and
tanks.
Classification
Society testing is available to certify units to comply with
relevant approvals, including ISO, CSC, UIC, TIR, ADR, DOT, AAR,
IMO etc.
